James King is the author of Bill Warrington’s Last Chance, Grand Prize Winner of the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award and published by Viking/Penguin. It was a 2010 Ohioana Book Award finalist and has been translated and published in German and Hebrew.
James’s poetry has appeared in The Dillydoun Review, The Thieving Magpie, OpenDoor Magazine, BigCityLit, The Dead Mule School of Southern Literature, Crowstep Poetry Journal, Barbar Literary Magazine, The Lake Poetry Journal, and others. His non-fiction work has been published in a wide variety of magazines and newspapers, including the San Francisco Chronicle, Chicago Tribune, and New York Daily News. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and holds an M.A. in Writing from Manhattanville College. He lives in Connecticut.
